Generation and Detection of Coherent and Incoherent Electromagnetic Radiation.

摘要

The report briefly reviews research areas which were supported by this contract. Included are:Research and development of tunable coherent light sources,picosecond laser pulses,laser pulse measurement and mode locking theory,techniques for submillimeter generation and detection,development of gamma-ray telescopes,infrared detection,theoretical studies of gamma-ray optics,and experimental studies in vacuum UV, X-ray and gamma-ray optics.
