Single Photo Analysis of Sampled Aerial Imagery.

Three single photo analyses of aerial photography using digital techniques are presented. A statistical description of thirty scenes taken from two stereo models is presented with a preliminary matching analysis using correlation procedures and a preliminary compaction analysis using Fourier techniques. Preliminary results indicate that image compaction using Fourier techniques is feasible and promising. Several useful properties of image matching were revealed in the analysis.
