Investigation of a Quick and Simplified Method to Manufacture Tetracene.

摘要

An experimentation was conducted with aminoguanidine sulfate salt to determine whether the process time for the production of tetracene (currently made from aminoguanidine bicarbonate salt) could be reduced. Tetracene was made in one operation under controlled conditions (temperature,pH and fluid flow) using aminoguanidine sulfate,sodium nitrite and glacial acetic acid. This represents a distinct advantage over the current process that involves two operations. Less time,material and equipment is required to make a specified amount of tetracene when aminoguanidine sulfate is used. (Modified author abstract)
