A Study on the Fundamental Limitation on Magnetic Domain Wall Velocities.

摘要

The purpose of this study was to understand the mechanisms limiting magnetic domain wall velocity and magnetic domain wall mobility in low-loss materials such as the garnets and orthoferrites. In particular,clarification was sought of the role of the spin wave spectrum of the magnetic material in damping the inherently precessional phenomena involved in the domain wall motion.
