摘要

The Dirac equation was solved numerically in order to obtain elastic low-energy electron scattering factors for selected elements at five energies. From the complex scattering amplitudes, the differential cross sections and spin polarization factors were calculated. The three papers in this series can be used as a basis for interpolation to obtain the differential cross sections for additional elements and intermediate energies. Since exchange of the incoming electron with the atomic electrons and charge-cloud polarization are not taken into account in the calculations, the scattering factors at angles of less than 10 deg should be used with caution.
