An intercalibration of fluoride analyses in seawater by two laboratories using an electrometric and a spectrophotometric method was conducted. There was no consistent difference between laboratories or analytical methods, but each set of data from a laboratory may contain an offset which is larger and in addition to the imprecision of the measurements.
