摘要

Measurements of attribution of causality and attribution of responsibility over several points in time were obtained on four different kinds of scales:non-forced bipolar scales, forced bipolar scales,non-forced percentage scales and forced percentage scales. The focus of the attribution was the performance of subjects'own four-man team in a complex experimental simulation. Each member of any team responded to one of the four scale types. The report discusses how the kind of scale chosen has important consequences for the results that are obtained. (Modified author abstract)
