摘要

The rf wideband data terminal study considers the most suitable design approach to a solid-state device which enables a high-speed digital data stream,at rates up to 500Mb/s,to be modulated onto a carrier frequency in the EHF government communication bands from 10-300GHz. The EHF propagation channel is examined. Solid-state component technology is evaluated to assess feasibility. Trade-off considerations are presented which result in a recommended design concept employing differentially coherent FM-PSK modulation systems. (Author)
