摘要

The objectives of the program were to determine the effects of rare earth oxide dispersions on the oxidation and hot corrosion of Ni-Cr-and Co-Cr-base alloys,with emphasis on alumina scale-forming Co-base alloys. The results generated are intended to provide a better understanding of the compositional requirements of oxidation-resistant and hot corrosion-resistant superalloys for high-temperature service in severe environments.
