The purpose of this investigation was to determine the bulk specific gravity of,and the percentage of seawater absorbed by,three precast lightweight concretes as a consequence of extended submersion in 66F seawater at simulated oceanic depths of 1ft, 40ft,and 350ft (respectively,nearly 0psi, 18psi,and 155psi hydrostatic).
