HF and VHF Antenna System Study for an LSD/LPD New Ship Design Concept.

摘要

This report presents analyses,test results,and conclusions resulting from a study of the new LSD/LPD ship communications antenna system. The recommendations contained are based on a review of ship plans,ship communication requirements,equipment or equipment prototypes available to meet the requirements,and operational considerations. The chief conclusion is that ship communications effectiveness will be vastly improved if a more modern approach is taken to topside design.
