Instrument Landing System Improvement Program:Environmental Study of the 200Foot Aperture Slotted Cable Localizer Antenna Array.

Results of an experimental program to determine the operational stability of the 200ft. aperture course array of the Watts Prototype Company's slotted cable localizer array are presented. Particular attention is given to those times when snow,ice,wind,and thunderstorms existed. Maximum course deviations of 2microamperes were found with the far-field and integral course monitor. Generally the course held within 1 microampere and the width 2microamperes. (Author)
