There is a vast opportunity to apply the Personalized System of Instruction technique within the military atmosphere, and especially at Naval Postgraduate School where the emphasis is on graduate education. The subject of this thesis is to explore the Personalized System of Instruction method and to develop a pre-calculus course using this method for use at the Naval Postgraduate School. (Author)
