Comparative Characteristic of the Functional State of the Nervous System during Acclimatization in the Eastern and Western Parts of the European Arctic.

Numerous researchers have noted that during acclimatization a number of changes take place in the general state of being of a healthy individual. This manifested in problems with sleeping, variations in working capacity, shifts in the psychoemotional sphere, and the appearance of various subjective reactions. These changes are more expressed in the polar night and they are connected with a reduction in tonus of the central nervous system during that period. The purpose of our research was to study the functional state of the nervous system during acclimatization in the Far North.
