摘要

Hydrolysis of frozen concentrated orange juice with concentrated nitric acid has been evaluated as a sample preparation method prior to flame atomic absorption spectrometric measurement of certain elements in orange juice concentrate. The hydrolysis procedure has been applied specifically to the determination of calcium. Studies of matrix interferences show that the use of lanthanum as a releasing agent is not necessary or even desirable for the measurement of calcium with this procedure. (Author)
