A Pressed-Sintered Silver Chloride Cathode.

摘要

A new silver chloride electrode has been developed for use in metal-silver chloride batteries, capable of operating over a wide temperature range (-40 C to +145 C). The method of manufacturing such an electrode involves the use of a mixture containing 90% AgCl and 10% Ag20, which is pressed onto a silver grid and sintered. This report deals with some of the advantages of such an electrode as they are related to a low-rate battery application (2 mA/c sq cm). (Author)
