Process Improvement for Automated Loading of Propellant Flash Reducers;Preliminary Design Concepts.

摘要

FMC engineers generated 6 alternate concepts for process improvements for automated loading of propellant flash reducers for 155 mm and 8-inch ammunition modeled the critical processes, evaluated the concepts, and demonstrated their feasibility to Picatinny Arsenal personnel. The Contracting Officer approved one concept, which FMC developed into a detailed engineering concept layout. FMC recommends further work to complete the development.
