A workshop on the State-of-the-Art and Prospects for Magnetic, Electronic and Mechanical Applications of Amorphous Metals was held to provide a forum for discussions of the potential applications of amorphous metals and their related physical properties. Half-day sessions were devoted to: (1) preparation and characterization, (2) mechanical applications and (3) magnetic and electronic applications. This report seeks to present a synopsis of the views which were expressed.
