A Computer Storage and Retrieval System for Scientific Data.

摘要

A computer storage and retrieval system for use with a CDC6600 computer as it is configured at AFGL, Hanscom AFB, was developed. The information stored and retrieved falls into three categories: source citation (bibliographic), data category (keyword) and scientific data (usually quantitative measurements on various properties of a selected class of materials). This report gives a general and specific description of this system which consists of computer subroutines, files and operational procedures. In addition it provides a detailed user's guide for operating the system. (Author)
