Precompensation and Postcompensation of Photon Limited Degraded Images.

摘要

New results are presented on the problem of linear least-squares restoration of photon-limited, atmospherically degraded images. The photon-limited performance of a system which combines pre-detection compensation and post-detection compensation is considered. The authors present some recently obtained results on the photon-limited sensitivity of the 'speckle imaging' technique for obtaining high resolution object information in the presence of atmospheric turbulence.
