摘要

One of the objectives of the workshop was to provide the managers of the Service Offices of Research with the knowledge that will allow them to formulate research programs relevant to military problems in decision information. Included in this objective is the presentation of scientific disciplines that have not previously been applied to such military problems but which have high promise of yielding useful results. Besides presenting current research, it is hoped that the workshop will stimulate new research in the scientific community both in new areas and in the application of current work to military problems.
