Effects of Scattering by Obstacles in the Field of VOR/DVOR.

Theoretical formulas, tables and graphs are presented which summarize the results obtained for the course deviation errors caused by scattering from wires and cylinders in the vicinity of a VOR station. A summary and an analysis of some experimental results are presented. The experiments were carried out at NAFEC near Atlantic City. On the whole the agreement between theory and experiment is satisfactory. A listing of modified and simplified computer programs is included. (Author)
