摘要

The spectroscopic fidelity and quantitative characteristics of intracavity laser detection (ILD) are examined using low pressure NO2 samples and optical multichannel (vidicon) analysis. The ILD spectra obtained are shown to accurately replicate the discrete absorption features of NO2 and to exhibit a linear dependence on the concentration of the intracavity species over more than an order of magnitude. The use of the technique for monitoring reaction intermediates is discussed. (Author)
