摘要

Described is a process of estimating and removing baseline drift from electrocardiograms, using cubic splines generated exclusively from PR-segment samples. Since the baseline is estimated from the same PR-segment location in every beat, no heart-generated, low-frequency information is admitted to the estimate and therefore is not removed by the process. In this manner, high-frequency baselines may be removed without affecting ST-segments. Rapid, simplified computations are accomplished using state-space techniques. (Author)
