Survey and Testing for Cultural Resources within Pumping Station and Culvert Construction Areas in Cairo and Mound City, Illinois.

Archival and field investigations failed to locate any archaeological, historical, or architectural resources. Test excavations were conducted at two previously known sites in Mound City, Illinois. No undisturbed cultural materials were found. It is recommended that construction proceed as planned.
