The article gives preliminary results of processing and analysis of observations made under the USSR National Programs of Joint Study of the Caribbean Sea and Adjacent Regions (JSCAR). It discusses the water circulation pattern and certain characteristics of the formation of fields of hydrological, optical, and hydrochemical elements in the Caribbean Sea. (Author)
