A sensitive spectrometer for the measurement of circular polarization of emission, utilizing a photoelastic modulator, is presented. This spectrometer, when augmented by a superconducting magnet and dewar assembly, provides an excellent system for studying magnetically induced circular polarization of emission (MICE).
