Collisionless Effects on the Spectrum of Secondary Auroral Electrons at Low Altitudes.

It is shown by use of particle computer simulations that collisionless interactions, due to energetic electron precipitation in the auroral zones, can be responsible for the break from the E-3 dependence of the secondary electron spectrum expected on the basis of collisional models, even at very low altitudes (<180 km).
