This Final Report on the 'Development of Techniques and Procedures to Aid in Achieving a More Equitable Distribution of Minority Accessions Among Occupational Fields' has been prepared by Decision Systems Associates, Inc. (DSAI), to meet the following objectives: To summarize the work performed under the contract; To provide an analysis of the gaming runs which specifically address delays awaiting training and the minority imbalance problem; To present the consequences (costs) of alternative assignment policies and optimization tradeoffs; and To recommend an assignment policy configuration for USMC implementation.
