An Annotated Bibliography of Natural Language and Speech Understanding Systems.

This annotated bibliography summarizes some 80 papers dealing with various aspects of natural language and speech understanding systems. Most detail a working system which 'understands' 'natural' input. Stress is on those issues at or above the level of syntax. Also included are several overviews and criticisms, usually in the form of comparative studies. (Author)
