Edge Enhancement with Incoherent Optics.

摘要

A new approach to optical spatial filtering is presented which eliminates the primary drawbacks of coherent optical processing - restrictive input requirements and poor signal-to-noise performance. The new approach is demonstrated with an edge enhancing spatial filter.
