摘要

The in-plane magnetic anisotropy of (111) LPE-YIG films has been measured and the results compared with theoretical predictions. Both a 6 theta and 2 theta anisotropy variation in FMR exist, in general, on samples doped with Pb and Si. The 6 theta dependence is independent of doping and agrees with theory when K sub 1/M = 31 oersteds. Silicon doping produces a large non-random 2 theta variation with a resonant peak along a direction. It is concluded that for multipole filter design using LPE-YIG disk films, anisotropy theories for spheres with H yields sq rt of (H(H+4piM)) are adequate. (Author)
