Standard TV Video Format.

This standard is intended to clarify and/or augment existing standards where range applications are unique. Electrical performance standards for standard and high resolution monochrome closed circuit television equipment are provided in this document. These standards represent the best agreement between the members of the Instrumentation Television Committee of the TCG,of the RCC,who drafted them,and are consistent with the rapidly developing state-of-the-art. The Army,Navy,and Air Force have regulations regarding television equipment and its use. Also the Electronic Industries Association (EIA) has published TV standards that are of high quality and usually adequate for technical guidance concerning broadcast type TV equipment. A partial listing of these regulations and standards is contained in this publication. (Author)
