Building Block Modules:Frequency Synthesizer and Amplifier-Mixer.

摘要

The report covers the design and development of two building block modules for potential application to AFSAT and other CN subsystems. A small dual amplifier mixer for 70 MHz IF with 25 dB gain(each) measuring 1.3 in. x 2.05 in. x 0.45 in. is described. A 70 MHz frequency synthesizer was developed which provides 2 to the 24th power frequencies with 0.48 Hz step size and 1 Hz spectral purity of -50 dB within 20 Hz of center frequency. (Author)
