Rational Bounds for the t-Tail Area with an Application to Bonferroni t-Percentiles.

摘要

The bounds for the normal distribution are extended to the t-distribution. It is shown how these bounds can be used to calculate the Bonferroni descriptive level as well as Bonferroni t-percentiles. The adequacy of the approximation is discussed and numerical examples provided.
