摘要

Static-force and moment and surface pressure data were obtained on a 0.06-scale representation of the Minuteman Instrumented Payload Delivery System (MIPDS) launch vehicle. The test was conducted at Mach numbers from 1.6to 5.0at free-stream Reynolds numbers,based on model length,from 28.4to 23.6million,respectively. The angle-of-attack range was from -12to 12deg,and the roll angle was from -180to 180deg. Results are presented to illustrate typical effects of variations in vehicle configuration,vehicle attitude,and Mach number on the static aerodynamic and surface pressure characteristics of the MIPDS payload nose section and the complete launch vehicle.
