This is the third volume in a series. The fire safety aspects of polymers are examined with primary emphasis on human survival. Other volumes in the series deal with materials: state of the art, test methods, specifications, and standards, fire dynamics and scenarios, aircraft (civil and military), and applications to buildings, vehicles, ships, mines and bunkers. An executive summary volume has been added to the series to pull together the disciplinary material of the first four volumes. (Author)
