Presented is a summary of the design and development of a motor drive system, under Contract Number F19628-76-C-0152. The primary objective is a mechanism and control system to meet the requirements of the Multi Spectral Measurements Program. In general, the concepts are applicable to future sounding rocket payload motor drive systems. (Author)
