Meat forms and important part of the diet of the native Sudanese and the export of carcasses is becoming an increasingly large revenue-earner. In spite of the efforts which successfully led to the effective control of major killing diseases caused by viruses and bacteria, helminthic infections remained an increasingly serious threat to animal health and productivity.
