A cultural resources survey and assessment of 874 acres of land which will be affected by proposed levee modification and improvement in Mississippi and New Madrid counties, Missouri. Based on an on-site pedestrian survey, an archival and record search, a review of published material relating to the area, and consideration of prehistoric and historic settlement patterns, it is recommended that there are no significant cultural resources within the project area.
