摘要

The design and operation of a microprocessor based data acquisition system is described. The system is capable of digitising and storing a frame of pictorial information from an AGA Thermovision and provides facilities for the analysis of the stored information. Transfer of the stored information to the IBM 370/168 can be achieved at high speed and sophisticated processing applied to the stored data. The use of a microprocessor as the controlling unit has allowed the implementation of some analysis and processing facilities at the experimental site. (Author)
