The Transfer of Information and Authority in a Protection System.

We distinguish between the transfer of information and the transfer of authority, and extend the Take-Grant Model to describe the former. The conditions under which information (but not authority) might be transferred are given, one characterization using the rules for transferring information alone, and another combining them with the previously-developed rules for transferring authority.
