Mean and Tolerance Limit Stresses and Stress Modeling for Compression Perpendicular to Grain in Hardwood and Softwood Species

Tables characterizing the stress-compression relationship of wood in compression perpendicular to grain for several species are presented here. Complete characterization results are included, as well as selected regression models for characterizing other species. Use of the tables and models is illustrated via discussion and graphs. (Author)
