Manual Voice Input Subsystem of the NAFEC Mass Weather Dissemination System

摘要

This report describes the manual voice input subsystem of the prototype Mass Weather Dissemination System currently being designed and tested in the FSS Engineering Development Laboratory. The object of this effort is to investigate through development, test, and evaluation the application of digital technology to the mass dissemination of meteorological and aeronautical information. The prototype model is a fully automated system designed to transfer a significant amount of workload from the FSS specialist to system hardware and to provide better service to the flying public.
