Performance of Pallets with Hardboard Decks of Varied Density

摘要

This paper reports the results of a study investigating the prospect of using hardboard in the construction of shipping pallets. This use would permit more effective use of low-grade wood fiber. Comparisons were made using red oak lumber and hardboard pallets.
