This report provides information and analysis on the physical condition of the dam as of the report date. Information and analysis are based on visual inspection of the dam by the performing organization. New Rochelle Reservoir No. 1 was judged to be unsafe-non-emergency. Areas of seepage on the downstream toe of the southwestern dike were found. The stability analysis indicates unsatisfactory safety factors under certain loadings, and the spillway is seriously inadequate. (Author)
