Superhard Transparent Coating Optimization Program

摘要

This report covers the results of a study program for the optimization of a hard transparent coating that was previously developed and laboratory tested by Goodyear Aerospace Corp. Subsequent field tests of the coating on UH-1 helicopter windows revealed certain deficiencies which this program was designed to overcome. Modifications of the No. 210 coating consisted primarily of discrete changes in the quantities of the reactive components. (Author)
