The pressure dependence of the piezoelectric hydrostatic pressure coefficient, d sub p and the pyroelectric coefficient, p sub y, was determined from atmospheric pressure to 7 Kbar over a temperature range from -80 C to +48 C for poled, uniaxially oriented film. The effect of the glass transition on d sub p and p sub y as a function of pressure is compared to the pressure dependence of the glass transition temperature obtained from dielectric studies. The ratio of d sub p/p sub y as a function of pressure and temperature is presented. (Author)
