摘要

The purpose of this particular program was to: establish the feasibility of using enamels to control HCF by controlling resonant vibration in rotating turbomachinery; establish probable damping design approaches for the generic structure involved; and determine research areas covering all phases of the program which will need substantial efforts to advance the enamel damping state-of-art to a point where the enamel damping approach to HCF control is a practical alternative in rotating turbomachinery design.
