摘要

This thesis develops an approach to the design of constant output feedback controllers for linear systems which incorporates many common approaches. It is assumed that some of the design criteria can be represented as restrictions on the locations of the closed-loop system eigenvalues in the complex plane. Additional constraints are represented by a quadratic cost function. The design problem is then to choose a set of constant output feedback gains that minimize the cost function subject to the constraints. (Author)
